Daniel | 2009-11-09

Nagarkot isist fantastic. I arrived late and it was long dark when I found the village. I couldn’t see much and I didn’t know if there’s a lot of places to stay available. I just kept riding up the windy and narrow roads through the settlement. The houses became fewer and fewer and eventually I had to stop in front of a cliff. Before I could turn around, a man approached me asking whether I need a place for the night. At this stage I didn’t know how lucky I was.
I liked the fact that my room had a large window – right next to and the length of – my bed. What kind of view would present itself in daylight I could only guess. In the morning, the sun woke me just before it made it above the mountain range on the horizon. The valley and the mountains that were now lit took my breath away. It was really hard to distinguish whether I was still dreaming or not. I only thought the sunrise was amazing, because I hadn’t seen the sunset yet.

@Knolle: Ich kenne Daniel etwa seit 2000. Ich habe mich das auch schon oft gefragt. Meine Erfahrung: Es treibt ihn immer etwas weiter. Was? Keine Ahnung. Meine Vermutung: das ist Systemimmanent bei ihm. (er weis es selber bestimmt auch nicht).

    Wahrscheinlich versucht er das rauszukriegen.
