2009-11-25 | Day 452 | 38688 km

Daniel | 2009-11-25

A 78 year old man returned happy from his expedition up to the summit of the Mt. Everest a few days ago. He’s the oldest man that has climbed it. If he can do it, I should too. I’ll go and try.

No, just kidding. I won’t, don’t worry. But it’s time for me to go and breath some fresh mountain air. I also read that life expectancy for people living in Kathmandu is reduced by ten years, due to the air pollution. Nepal buys all its fossil fuels from India. Before it gets into the tanks of the vehicles, it’s severely thinned by the corrupt importers. This wrecks the engines and adds to the toxic level of exhaust fumes.
