Morgan and George, two brothers and bikers from the UK, on their way down to Australia, stopped by and had dinner with me. The great thing about meeting bikers is, you immediately have something to talk about.

The younger brother really got me thinking though when he pointed out: Riding your bike across continents is unique and special, because as a rider you’re very vulnerable, you have to be very alert at all times. And because of that, your eyes consider everything. You look at and take in everything. And the most intense thing: You look into so many eyes. We were speculating that each one of us had looked into more than half a million pairs of eyes on our way from home to here. And from every pair of eyes, you get a tiny bit of feedback.
