On our third day in Tibet, we took a break for acclimatising purposes. Within only two days, we made it up to 3800m / 12.500ft. For the first time in daylight we enjoyed the views of the Tibetan highlands from a small village, with a small guest house without heating. The inmates of the orangetrotter.de and project-asia.com vehicles went up to 4200m / 13.800ft and slept in their heated luxurious vehicles, hoping for a better acclimatising effect.
